What will this matching service cost me?

There is no cost to physicians for this online matching service. Hiring organizations and recruitment firms pay for the opportunity to meet physicians suitable for their community and organization.

How are my matches calculated?

Upon registering you will be asked a variety of questions in categories such as community, practice, qualifications and lifestyle. We compare several questions in each category to help you uncover which practices meet the majority of your needs. Our advanced algorithms then provide you with a percentage for each match. You may sort your matches by “Best Match or “Newest Match” among other options.

Why should I add a picture to my profile?

We have added this feature because it is a great way to personalize your profile whether you choose to add a professional picture of yourself or you and your family or even your favorite sport.

How is my information kept confidential so that I am not bombarded by recruiters?

Your contact information when you register is only for eMatchPhysicians and never shared with other parties. However, should you find a potential match, you may personally choose to share your contact information via our internal messaging system, by checking a box. Checking this “contact information box” will allow you to attach a phone number and email address that you added in your profile tab.
Note: You will have an option to attach your CV as well (also added via your profile tab inside the website).

How can I gain more results?

One way to open yourself up to other opportunities is to use our “explore” function which is a different way to view potential practice opportunities. You can choose very specific criteria by which to search all jobs within your specialty. Another way to expose yourself to more physician job opportunities is to check the box “Allow Search Firms to Contact Me” in registration or from the settings menu on your home page. This does not mean they get your contact information: it means they can view your profile and email you through our internal messaging system.

How can I turn personal email notification on or off?

Go to “Settings” on your home page to turn personal email notification on or off.
*Note: Our internal messaging system will always show new mail upon logging in.

How can I cancel my membership once I have found a position?

You may cancel your membership from the “settings” menu on your home page. Keep in mind that all physician profiles with 180 days of no activity will automatically be canceled and deleted. If you do choose to cancel your membership and decide that you want to come back, you will need to create a brand new profile, answering all the questions, uploading a picture, and more. Messages are also not saved once a profile is deleted.

How can I provide feedback to eMatchPhysicians?

When you cancel your membership, we offer a feedback form and we would love for you to tell us your story if you experienced success with our website. We also encourage open and honest feedback regarding your experience so that we can continue to improve our services.
